Wallaroo area beaches – safe swimming & scuba diving

White sands, crystal waters and the warm Australian sun…. that’s a good description of Yorke Peninsula beaches and the Wallaroo area is no exception! We have many beaches that provide safe swimming for all the family. North Beach is a favourite swimming and beach-combing destination. It is one of the few beaches around that you can drive your car on! The North Beach picnic area also provides extensive under cover shelter.

Wallaroo boasts an amazing sealed swimming section as part of the Wallaroo Jetty. It features a walkway around most of the swimming area, seating, amazing views and best of all – it’s free and only 2 minutes walk from the Mac’s Beachfront Villas.

But why walk even 2 minutes, when one of the safest beaches in the Yorke Peninsula district is right outside your beachfront villa door! Laze your day away on the foreshore or swim in the crystal clear waters!

There’s nothing quite like awakening to the sound of the waters gently lapping on our beach. While staying at the Mac’s Beachfront Villas, you can start every day off with a swim on your own semi-private beach.
